Kyra M. Sedgwick (born Kyra Minturn) is an American TV personality and actress. She's well known around all over the world, and especially in America, for playing the leading role in 'The Cloner. Sedgwick had a passion for art, Broadway and performing since at the age of 12. Her mother was extremely interested in Broadway and was able to introduce the show to her. At the age of 16 that Sedgwick received her first acting job professionally in the TV show "Another World". Sedgwick went on to play minor roles on TV, but it was the thought that she could be a famous actor that enticed her. Sedgwick was noticed on the big-screen for the first-time with her supporting role in the film 'Born on the Fourth of July' in which she starred along alongside Tom Cruise. The actor husband of her Kevin Bacon met her in the TV film "Lemon Sky..' They married at 22. Sedgwick made a mark in the history of American television with her effortless performing in The Closer, which ran for seven seasons and fetched her high-profile awards such as the Golden Globe and Emmy.
