Taylor Momsen

Taylor Momsen (born Taylor Marien) is a famous American actress, singer and songwriter. Most famously, she is known for her work as the leader singer of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. She is a multi-talented individual, and began her journey into the entertainment industry at the young age two. Her story was described as a rollercoaster that was punctuated by commitments to work since a young age. She was raised in religion, the Roman Catholic religion, but has since declared that she's no longer religious. She's a descendant of ethnic Germans which came from the "then" Russian Empire. Her first professional venture was as an actor in her youth, she eventually forayed into music and modeling as well. Her name became famous after her role as "Jenny Humphrey" in the well-known "Gossip Girl" series. The hit debut album by her group, "Light Me Up' helped her to gain notoriety. It's a multi-faceted artist, but she says that she is a music lover. That's why she's opted to not act anymore and focus on her work in music.
